From Garage to Global Platform
It started in 2019 with two podcast addicts, a messy folder of spreadsheets, and a burning frustration.
Sam and Jordan were recording episodes late into the night, but they were spending more time wrestling with RSS feeds and uploading audio files across five different platforms than they were actually talking to their listeners. The "it should be easier" thought kept them up at night.
So they built it. Not a marketing tool, not a bloated CMS, but a dedicated publishing infrastructure that treats content creators like the VIPs they are. Today, HostKit is used by thousands of creators, but the mission remains exactly the same: remove the friction so you can focus on the magic.

Company Milestones
- 2019 HostKit is founded in a small apartment in Brooklyn. The first prototype is built on a laptop.
- 2020 We hit 1,000 active podcasters. The team grows to 5 people working from home.
- 2022 Series A funding secured. We move into our first proper office and launch the Newsletter Builder.
- 2024 Expanding globally. We now serve creators in 80+ countries and process over 340M episodes.
